Attention Hallcon drivers at the Union Pacific railroad in Texas and Louisiana.

Welcome to the Union. UE Local 977 is run for and by drivers just like you. Below, you will see the contract that you now enjoy benefits under as well as the side letter agreeing to add your location to the UE Master Agreement, see attached.

As part of our UE union agreement to add UP drivers from RailCrewXPress to our bargaining unit, we have secured language allowing for seniority to be recognized based upon your length of service from your date of hire. Date of hire shall include previous, consecutive experience in the rail crew transportation industry. Please read Article 17 for more information.

Drivers will need to verify they worked in that yard or road board with the most recent vendor that had the railroad contract. You will need to provide written verification to management of your unbroken service in that location within 30 days of our signed agreement (9/11/2020) in order for their seniority to be carried forward.
